About the job

As a Bartender at Harbor Restaurant, you are responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests.

In this hands-on role, you ensure that the bar area is well-organized, stocked, and operating efficiently during service. You engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, contribute to a lively yet refined atmosphere, and work closely with the service team to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery of drinks—while upholding high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and professionalism.

The position

• Prepare and serve beverages with consistent quality and presentation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar

• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner

• Provide recommendations on drinks, wines, and cocktails

• Monitor stock levels and support restocking and waste control

• Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards

• Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth service

• Assist with bar opening, closing, and event service when needed

About you

• Experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role

• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wines, and beverage service

• Friendly, service-oriented, and professional attitude

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Fluent in English; Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu are a plus
