As our HR Officer at Harbor Hotel & Casino Curaçao, you will be the driving force behind a positive, professional and people-first workplace. You will work closely with department heads, managers and leadership to support our teams throughout their entire employee journey — from onboarding and development to engagement and performance. In this role, you help create structure, clarity and trust, while ensuring our people feel supported, heard and motivated to deliver outstanding guest experiences every day.
Your impact goes far beyond administration: you actively shape our culture, strengthen teamwork across hotel, restaurant and casino operations, and help our managers grow stronger, more confident teams. The position
Act as the main HR partner for managers across hotel, restaurant and casino operations
Manage employee administration and maintain accurate personnel files and HR records
Be the first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters
Prepare, update and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes
Support performance management, training and employee development initiatives
Strengthen engagement, performance and a positive workplace culture
Ensure HR processes are consistent, people-focused and compliant
About you
Bachelor’s degree in human resources
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in human resources
Proven experience in payroll management
Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment legislation, and administration
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Fluent in English, Spanish and Papiamentu; Dutch is a plus
