About the job
As a Front Desk Agent at Harbor Hotel & Casino Curaçao, you are the first and last impression for our guests and play a central role in shaping their overall experience. You work closely with housekeeping, security, food & beverage and management to ensure every arrival, stay and departure runs smoothly. In this fast-paced and people-focused role, you create a welcoming atmosphere, solve challenges with confidence and care, and help guests feel at home in the heart of Willemstad.
Your daily impact is felt directly by our guests, as you turn moments of service into memorable experiences and contribute to the warm, authentic hospitality that defines our hotel.
The position
Manage reservations and handle check-in and check-out in a friendly and professional manner
Welcome guests, assign rooms, and provide information about the hotel, restaurant, casino, and local area
Support guests with transportation, activities, and special requests
Handle guest questions and resolve complaints in a service-oriented way
Verify payments and complete shift and closing procedures according to hotel standards
Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience
Follow safety and emergency procedures
Maintain a professional appearance, a clean front desk, and strict confidentiality
Show initiative, anticipate guest needs, and support daily operations as needed
About you
Friendly, service-minded, and guest-focused professional
Experience in a front office role or related hospitality environment preferred
Experience with hotel reservation systems or Property Management Systems (PMS) is preferred
Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexible and able to work extended hours in support of business needs
Fluent in English and Dutch; Spanish and Papiamentu are a plus
