As a Jr. Finance Officer at Harbor Hotel & Casino Curaçao, you support the financial backbone of our hotel, restaurant, and casino operations. You work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate reporting, smooth daily financial processes, and clear insight into our performance. In this role, you help turn numbers into reliable information that supports decision-making across the business.

Your contribution directly impacts cost control, operational efficiency, and the long-term financial health of the organization—helping our teams focus on what matters most: delivering great experiences to our guests.

The position

• Support daily financial operations for hotel, restaurant, and casino departments

• Prepare purchase orders (POs), process invoices, and payments

• Reconcile vendor and general accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare, review, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements

• Maintain accurate financial records, files, and spreadsheets

• Check postings, figures, and documents for accuracy and correct coding

• Support period-end and month-end closing, including accounts payable close

• Prepare financial, statistical, and payroll-related reports

• Support audits, internal controls, and data integrity

About you

• Degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Proven experience in a finance or accounting role

• Accurate, structured, and detail-oriented

• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and accounting systems

• Able to work with deadlines and monthly closing schedules

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Reliable, discreet, and professional with confidential information

• Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team

• Fluent in English and Dutch; Spanish and Papiamentu are a plus
