About the job

As a Waiter / Waitress at Harbor Restaurant, you play an important role in creating a welcoming, memorable dining experience for our guests. You are responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive, professional service throughout the guest’s visit.

In this hands-on role, you ensure that tables are well-prepared, service runs smoothly, and guests feel well cared for. You work closely with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure timely and accurate service while maintaining high standards of hospitality, presentation, and professionalism.

The position

• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional table service

• Take and process food and beverage orders accurately

• Serve food and drinks with proper presentation and timing

• Ensure tables are clean, organized, and ready for guests

• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and bar during service

• Maintain knowledge of the menu, specials, and recommendations

• Handle guest requests and ensure a positive dining experience

• Support opening, closing, and general restaurant duties

About you

• Experience in a similar hospitality or service role is preferred

• Friendly, service-oriented, and professional attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Good presentation and attention to detail

• Flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Fluent in English; Dutch, Spanish, and Papiamentu are a plus
